Drone landing platform pushed forward in the mourning rail design

There was a missed design requirement: a human should be able to sit in the boat in case human intervention is required during the testing operations.

The drone platform has been moved forward to allow for the human to act as a counterweight to the lidar mount and landing platform.

Note that the center of gravity of the frame is pretty high at the moment.

Currently, the dimensions of the frame are ~75 in by ~80 in by ~60 in

The superstructure weights about 56 pounds (just the bars alone not including the brackets)

The brackets and screws come out to be 24.274 pounds

24.274 lb +56 lb = 80.274 lb

Note the frame can take 990 lbs. (450 kg) capacity
