5/08/22 Learning Cutting CF with hand tools

Need to trim down CF tubes from 420mm to 380mm somehow so I found this video from EasyComposites which explains different methods of cutting CF and the different tools which can be used.
Cutting straight down a CF tube will mess it up because the strands are laid lengthwise.
Notice fraying at the edge of the tube in the image.
To make a clean cut you need to first slowly cut the outside while rotating the tube so you have a shallow incision going all the way around and then cut it through.
Look, it's a clean cut and also notice the tape being used to mark how to cut the straight line through the tube.
Recommend using perma grit block for sanding/refining
Could be useful for everything else too
